+ When We Were Young +

"Everybody loves the things you do

From the way you talk to the way you move

Everybody here is watching you

'Cause you feel like home

You're like a dream come true

But if by chance you're here alone

Can I have a moment before I go?

'Cause I've been by myself all night long

Hoping you're someone I used to know

You look like a movie

You sound like a song

My God, this reminds me

Of when we were young

Let me photograph you in this light

In case it is the last time

That we might be exactly like we were

Before we realized

We were sad of getting old

It made us restless

It was just like a movie

It was just like a song.."

Tonight when I arrive have a carpet red
Flashing lights is how I survive and I need to be fed

They wanna touch me just to taste the spotlight
I be on MTV all day and all night
And everything I do or say copywrite
Let the whole world know
We 'bout to give them a show

So who let the freaks out, let the freaks out baby, who let
The freaks out tonight
The freaks out, let the freaks out baby, who let
The freaks out tonight

I hear them screaming my name but I want it louder, louder, louder
My 15 minutes of fame but I want an hour, hour, hour

They wanna touch me just to taste the spotlight
I be on MTV all day and all night
And everything I do or say copywrite
Let the whole world know
We 'bout to give them a show

So who let the freaks out, let the freaks out baby, who let
The freaks out tonight
The freaks out, let the freaks out baby, who let
The freaks out tonight....."

+ Everybody wants to be a cat +

Everybody wants to be a cat,

because a cat's the only cat

who knows where it's at.

Everybody's pickin' up on that feline beat,

'cause everything else is obsolete.

Now a square with a horn,

can make you wish you weren't born,

ever'time he plays;

and with a square in the act,

he can set music back

to the caveman days.

I've heard some corny birds who tried to sing,

but a cat's the only cat

who knows how to swing.

Who wants to dig

a long-haired gig

or stuff like that?

"Don't
Don't play with her don't be dishonest
Still not understanding this logic
Aye, I'm back and I'm better
I want you bad as ever
Don't let me just let up
I want to give you better
Baby it's whatever
Somebody gotta step up
Girl I'm that somebody
So I'm Next up

Be d**** if I let him catch up
It's easy to see that you're fed up
I am on a whole 'nother level

"There are few who deny, at what I do I am the best

For my talents are renowned far and wide

When it comes to surprises in the moonlit night

I excel without ever even trying

With the slightest little effort of my ghost like charms

I have see grown men give out a shriek

With a wave of my hand and a well-placed moan

I have swept the very bravest off their feet

Yet year after year, it's the same routine

And I grow so weary of the sound of screams

And I, Jack, the Pumpkin King

Have grown so tired of the same old thing

Oh, somewhere deep inside of these bones

An emptiness began to grow

There's something out there, far from my home

A longing that I've never known..."

"Loving can hurt

Loving can hurt sometimes

But it's the only thing that I know

When it gets hard

You know it can get hard sometimes

It is the only thing that makes us feel alive

We keep this love in a photograph

We made these memories for ourselves

Where our eyes are never closing

Hearts are never broken

Times forever frozen still

So you can keep me

Inside the pocket

Of your ripped jeans

Holdin' me closer

'Til our eyes meet

You won't ever be alone

Wait for me to come home..."

"Woah!
Never again will she get the best of me!
Never again will she take away my freedom.
And we won't forget the day we fought
For the right to be a little bit naughty!
Never again will The Chokey door slam!
Never again will I be bullied, and
Never again will I doubt it when
My mummy says I'm a miracle!
Never again!
Never again will we live behind bars!
Never again we know that...

[Chorus:]
We are revolting children...
Living in revolting times
We sing revolting songs
Using revolting rhymes.
We'll be revolting children,
'Til our revolting's done,
And we'll have the Trunchbull bolting.
We're revolting!..."

"Departure time 7:30

I'm packed and ready to go

First class ticket outta here

I think it's time,

To put it back in gear,

No more standing by,

I'm tryin to stay clear

Turbulence got me nervous,

I should have never flown

Scared when you

Fly alone again

You know the atmosphere

Wasn't perfect

I'm thinkin to myself

Was it worth it..."
